Abstracts
There will be an exhibition of posters at the conference and the abstracts of accepted posters will be published in the conference programme. The authors of the winning posters will be invited to present orally on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 2nd.
You are invited to submit an abstract on any topic relevant to the themes of the conference for presentation in poster format. Posters submitted should be based upon original and/or ongoing research. Provisional abstracts should be submitted electronically, by October 17th to: h.comber@ncri.ie. You will be informed shortly after this date if your poster has been accepted.
Poster Themes
• nursing science
• clinical science
• basic science
• prevention and population health
Abstracts must be submitted electronically.
They should be in the following format:
• Title in block capitals
• Author(s) and principal affi liations, with the presenting author
named first
• Abstract text, of not more than 250 words
• A list of references is optional (no more than 5)
Presentation Format
The maximum poster size is 100cm wide x 200 cm high (portrait orientation). The presenter should be available to discuss his/her poster during poster sessions.
